6 days Walking Tour - April 2011

We had the best trip with Thin Air Adventure walking in Himalaya for 6 days.

Som is a really nice guy, and he came and picked us up at the airport and helped us with all our needs and some practical stuff when we arrived and made us feel very welcome.
The trip was amazing, and our trekking guide was really good, and very good at speaking English, and a very nice guy. We stayed at some really nice guesthouses with a lot of friendly people.

We definitely want to go to Nepal again and trek and will definitely choose this company again to go with.

We have only positive things to say about this trip, and everything was as we agreed in the email and itinerary.

Thanks again for a perfect trip, and hopefully we will see you again in the future.

Everest Panorama Trek - April 2010

From the first minute we met Som at the airport we had the feeling of having the most friendly and helpfull guide in Nepal. With his open, warm and positive attitude he gave us thruout the whole time the feeling of being part of the nepalese family. His organisation was great and everything worked out seamlessly. He is a very funny guy and having a highly enjoyable time is guaranteed. We specifically liked the combination of high professionalism when it comes to organization + safety and having a relaxed and funny time. Som, thank you very much for your efforts and we have been blessed with you having been our guide.

Annapurna Circuit Trek - 12 Days, August 2010

Anybody who's tried will know how baffling choosing a trekking company over the Internet can be. We were lucky to chance uponThin Air Adventure.Som wasmost helpful – and patient! - in answering all our email queries and, after much thinking, we eventually settled on the Annapurna Circuit.

From there on, we never had to worry about a thing. We left it all in O.B.'s and Som's more than capable hands and enjoyed 12 truly fantastic days in the mountains. Monsoon rain clouds were never far, but the friendliness, dedication and great sense of humour of our guide O.B., and of our porter Shiva, made every moment an unforgettable experience.

And when our flight back from Jomsom to Pokhara was cancelled due to bad weather, O.B. and Som were most resourceful and efficient in hatching a last-minute plan to get us back to Kathmandu in time for our international flight. It was a long series of memorable jeep and bus ridesCorinne from Muktinath to Pokhara, but ultimately a great way to wrap up our Bhulbhule-Jomsom leg of the Circuit and well worth the experience.

We couldn't have made a better choice or wished for finer companions for our first trip to Nepal. We highly recommend Thin Air Adventure to anybody considering a trek in the region. In short: professional services delivered by TAAN-licensed, knowledgeable, thoughtful and genuinely lovely people. You won't regret it! Annapurna Base Camp Trek - 10 Days, 2009

Dear Som,

It was really nice to make ABC 10 days hiking; all of my team were enjoying the hiking.

I want to thank for you are wonderful service, all your porter were doing very good service to us. Especially, the day hiking down from ABC, the trail filled with snow, each of your porter they do carefully to take care of us. Thanks a lot for your kind service.

You are a very good guide, not only that, you also do very good cooking, in order to fit our taste, many meals were cooked by yourself, thanks again.

The view was nice, the only pity was that we could see nothing when we stayed at ABC, because the snowing, anyway, it was an exciting experience to us, as we can not see big snowing in Taiwan. If has chance, I will come back ABC again to see the beautiful view.

Taiwan Mountain is very beautiful, wishing someday you will also have chance to come to Taiwan to do hiking.

Everest Base Camp Trek & Annapurna BC Trek -2008 Manaslu Trekking

This is my third trek with Som from Thin Air Adventure (P) Ltd. After Annapurna Base Camp and Everest base Camp we decided to make the Round Manaslu circuit. Again everything was perfect even if it was more challenging due to the fact that Manaslu was a fully tented trek.

We would highly recommend any potential trekker in Nepal to enlist the services of this trekking agency. It is without a doubt that you will be richly rewarded if you do so.
