Which is the located north from Tengboche in front of kongde Himal and Thamaserku, hiking uphill for about 6hours to summit at 4800m. One can witness close panoramic View of Himalayas such as Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8501m), Nuptse(7642), Ama Dabalam(6865), Thamserku (6608m), Kongda Himal, Tawache and many more snowcapped peaks.
Our client Cristof and Patrick from Germany they did several trek in different region of Nepal Himalayas but it was their first time in Dalja Ri, they suggested for promotion this peak and they really enjoyed the hiking time and felt better than Kalapatthar in accordance of View. They named the peak Dalja Ri, that means friendship peak in Sherpa Language.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from airport in Private or tourist Vehicle by a agent representing Thin air Adventures pvt.ltd. And transfer to Hotel of your choice( From simple lodge to 5 star Hotels).
Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley withwell experienced English(or any other language) speaking guides. Day tour includes places listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site, which are famous historic, cultural heritage and religious area like Pashupatinath Temple area, Boudhanath stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Lalitpur Durbar
Square and Swayambhu(monkey temple). Day 03: Morning flight from Kathmandu domestic airport to Lukla at altitude of 2840m above sea level. 4 hours trek to Phakding(2610m). Along the trail are forest of Rhododendrons, pines and firs, small Sherpa settlements, waterfalls, prayer flags, etc. The trail is gentle descends first up to Thado Koshi then gradual climb up to the Phakding via Dudh koshi river bank.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3430m).It takes 4 - 5 hours. Namche Bazaar is a small Sherpa town with basic facilities and it is known as Gateway to Everest. After first hour of hiking to cross the Dhud Koshi River, you can see Mt. Thamserku (6608m), you cross streams and rivers on steel suspension bridge on several places. In Namche you can see real Sherpa culture and traditions.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860M). After breakfast 4 -5 hours trek starts via gentle ridge walk of the town and descent to the Dhudh Koshi River at Phunkithanka, after crossing the bridge from there the trail assents up to the Tengboche(3867m). Tengboche is the monastery village with largest monastery of Khumbu region.
Day 06: Day hike to the summit of Dalja Ri(friendship peak) this is the highest elevation of this trek. It takes around 8 hours for round trip. Packed lunch on the way. From Dalja ri the breathtaking view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Ama dabalam, Thamserku, Tukuche and many other unnamed peaks of Eastern Nepal. Back to Tengboche for night stay.
Day 07:Trek from Tengboche back to Monjo village at the altitude of 2840m above sea level. This is a small village with some tea house mainly inherited by Sherpa's near the green woods and below high cliffs. It is the Ending point of Sagarmatha National Park with National park permit check post. It takes about 5 - 6 hours.
Day 08: Trek back to the place from where we started Lukla(2840m). The trek takes about 4 - 5 hours to accomplish. We descend through lusty Forests of Rhododendron, Pines, firs and Mongolia, waterfalls, crystal clear streams. This part of trail is bloomed by different colours of Rhododendrons flowers during spring season.
Day 09: Morning flight back to Kathmandu, pickup from airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon free for shopping, enjoyment and exploring around Thamel or rest in hotel.
Day 10: Departure towards International Airport for flight to your destination or go for onwards programs in Nepal.
