Kathmandu Shivapuri Nagarkot Trek is one of the finest trekking routes around the rim of Kathmandu valley providing peek into real Nepali cultures and traditions as well the panoramic view of massive Himalayan range to the North. Beside the cultures and Mountain View the area is perfect for Bird watching, glimpse of wildlife, view of mid hills and green valleys of Helambu and Nuwakot and observation of extraordinary vegetation. We trek most of the time inside the Shivapuri National park habitation of wildlife including 42 mammals and more than 250 species of Birds.

Kathmandu Shivapuri Nagarkot trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel of your choice. We will arrange a small briefing about your tour and finish some official formalities.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley with English speaking guide, places includes UNESCO world heritage site Pashupatinath Temple, Boudha stupa, Swayambhu and other major historical and cultural site such as Kathmandu Durbar square and Patan Durbar Square also know as city of fine arts.
Day 03: Drive to Budha Nilakantha, the start point of this trek is less crowded outskirts of Kathmandu city. The offerings of nature provide the impetus to visit Shivapuri National Park and nature lovers will hail the close-up view of mountain. For anyone wishing to truly get away from the distractions of urban life and closeness with nature it is a perfect retreat. After lunch, you will further trek up to the top of Shivapuri Hill our campsite. The trek includes 5 - 6 hour of mostly uphill walking.
Day 04: After having breakfast in Camp pack up and trek to Chisapani (2100m) which takes about 5 hours to end. The trek trail passes mostly through forested areas of Shivapuri National Park home to range of wildlife, green vegetation and more than 300 species of permanent living birds and passing small settlements. During the trek we visit Bagdwar water spring on the rock or the head of Bagmati River.
Day 05: Early morning breakfast and trek to Nagarkot (2170m), famous hill station and view point of Central Himalayan range from Annapurna up to Mt Everest in the east. It takes 6 hours to complete. We walk through mostly flat hills and downhill through mainly forests of Shivapuri National park offering glimpse of variety of Wildlife and opportunity to watch various species of colorful birds and along the terraced farmed lands and small villages. Day 06: Early morning spectacular view of sunrise on the gigantic Himalayas turning them golden. Breakfast and short explore around the local area drive back to Kathmandu city and transfer to hotel of your choice, the drive takes 1 and half hour to complete.
Day 07: Departure to international airport for your flight to your destination or go for onwards programs in Nepal like rafting, bungee etc.
