Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trekking combines experience of three different trek of Langtang Valley, Gosainkunda and Helambu Region Trek. One of the closest trekking route from Kathmandu lies an unparalleled combination of natural landscapes and cultural riches of Langtang and Helambu offers an unfolding life and unique experience. Trail passes through beautiful Tamang village in langtang region and Sherpa village in Helambu region with scenic Mountains views, spectacular landscapes and the high lakes of Gosainkunda at 4300 metres, Langtang and Helambu region trail is connected through Laurebina pass at the altitude of 4600m. We will be spending almost 75 percent of trek time in Langtang National Park, first and popular Mountainous region park of Nepal with good number of rare animals like Musk deer and red panda.
Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek is popular for high mountain and Himalayan wildlife experience. The Gosaikunda loop is quite remote and thinly populated area with rocks and pebbles on the trail base. We often walking pass several chortens, mani walls, kanis around langtang as well as Helambu region. After a day rest and explore in Gosainkunda lake area, we continue south, leaving the Langtang/Gosainkunda region behind us as we travel through the Helambu valley of Sherpa's to Melamchipul, where trek finish.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, pickup from airport by our represents and transfer to hotel of your choice, Free evening for exploration around local area or rest in Hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing guided tour around famous places of Kathmandu Valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath stupa, Kathmandu durbar square, Lalitpur durbar square etc. These are the major historic and cultural heritage site of Kathmandu.
Day 03: 7 hour Jeep or bus drive to trekking town of Syafrubesi(1435m) about 126 km north of Kathmnadu. Road frequently ascend and descend on the scenic snake like high hill roads of Nuwakot and Rasuwa district. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge of your choice in syafrubesi.
Day 04: Starting of trek after breakfast from syafrubesi to Lama Hotel (2470m).The trail mostly ascends with some plain trail and little downhill. First part of trek is unto Bamboo (1970m) or Landslide 3 and half-hours gentle ascend, total duration of trek is 7 - 8 hours. Lunch at Bamboo and resume trek with direct ascend up to Rimche and Lama Hotel. Mostly forested areas with Rhododendron, oak and bamboos with animals like Languor, deer, wild boars mostly hidden deep inside and couple of small human settlements.
Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3470m).It takes around 6 hour. The day starts with gentle climb but soon becomes steeper climbing high above the Langtang Khola. Tantalizing glimpse of Langtang lirung(7246m) appear through trees. The first quarter of day trek through huge forest before the valley becomes wider and wider. You pass through Mani stones and prayer wheels at the entrance of Langtang Valley. It Takes 6 - 7 hours.
Day 06: Trek starts from beautiful Tamang village of Langtang towards Kyanjin Gompa(3784m). Continuing through small settlements and pastures with Yaks and Horses the Valley Becomes broader, You will reach Kyanjin in maximum 3 hours before lunch. Rest or Climb up to Kyanjin ri(4773m) and back to lodge or tea house for Night stay.
Day 07: Day trip to Tsergo ri(4984m) which takes around 8 hours for round trip. From the top of the ri you can see Magnificent view of Yala peak, Langtang lirung, ganja-la range, Gangchenpo, Dorje lakhpa, Langsisa ri and some peaks of Tibetan region
Day 08: Trek Back to Lama Hotel(Changtang) at 2470m which takes approximately 8 hours. The trail is Mostly descent with little uphill after crossing some suspension bridge. You reach Lama hotel before dusk for overnight stay. Though the trail is mostly descending it needs lot of energy and is Strenuous.
Day 09: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulosyabru(2100m) which is inhabited mostly by Tamang and Sherpa. One can experience real Tamang culture, rituals and tradition here. The trail descends until landslide 1550m along the forests and river, then ascends until reaching Thulosyabru, this part of trail passes through forests of oak, bamboo first and then terraced farmland near Thulosyabru.
Day 10: Trek from Thukosyabru to Sing Gompa at 3584m located on Syabru VDC of Rasuwa district. The duration of today's trek is about 7 - 8 hours on the rock trail along the Forest of Rhododendrons and firs passing through pleasant tea house of Dursagang(2550m). There is a view of Dhunche far below in the Valley.
Day 11: Trek to Gosainkunda at an altitude of 4350m, it is considered to be Holy lake for both Hindus and Buddhists. The trail ascends steeply up the ridge, at some point the top of ridge itself. As the trail climbs there are breathtaking view of Langtang valley to Langtang lirung. It takes about 4 -5 hours.
Day 12: Morning hike to other high lakes there are more than dozens of sister lakes or explore around Gosainkunda, it offers view of lakes and mountains as well as high mountain wildlife and vegetations. And afternoon free for rest or other activities.
Day 13: Trek to Ghopte(3440m) via Laurebina pass(4600m) connecting the picturesque sherpa village of Helambu region. The day trail are mostly rocky steep direct ascend and descends. Overnight camp or tea house stay at Ghopte. we reach our destination after 7 hour of walking in high mountains.
Day 14: Trek to Melamchi gaon, beautiful village of Sherpa at the altitude of 2530m above sea level. From melamchi gaon astonishing views of jugal range and other snow capped mountain peak are in sight. Melamchi gaon offers experience of Sherpa culture and tradition different from Sherpa's of Solukhumbu.
Day 15: From Melamchi gaon to Tarkegyang(2600m). It takes around 4 - 5 hours while walking gently. Tarkegyang is also a Sherpa Village located at Sindhupalchok district. You pass through terraced farmed area,player flags, forests of Rhododendrons, firs and pines
Day 16: Rest day at Tarkegyang(2600m). Tarkegyang have one of the oldest Buddhist Monastery of this region and beautiful Sherpa villages with background of great gigantic Himalayas to the North.
Day 17: Trek starts from Tarkegyang passing by Hotels and lodges of Tarkegyang then drops off the west side of ridge in huge Rhododendron Forest, along a broad, well travelled path. Passing through sherpa village and chortens you reach Kakani(2070m) after five hours trek.
Day 18: Trek to Melamchi pool (870m), Trail pass croosing Thimbu(1580m), which enters the valley of Melamchi and Indrawati within 6 hours. The trail is mostly downhill. Melamchi, small town connecting kathmandu and this region with road access. Overnight at lodge.
Day 19: About 3 - 4 hours morning drives from Melamchipool to Kathmandu. Rest of the day free at Kathmandu for shopping or resting.
Day 20: Tour ends departure to airport by private or tourist vehicle or go for other programs.
