Everest view trekking is another most popular and shorter 10 days trip, in comparison to the Everest base camp trek. The highest point of this Everest view trek package 10 days is the famous Buddhist monastery called Tengboche, (3,870 m). While having this trip, you will explore the Khumbu region, the rich Sherpa culture, and the lifestyle of legendary Sherpa ethnic groups, and equally, you will also explore the highest mountains over 8,000 m, including Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Makalu (8,463 m), Cho Oyo (8,201 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) among other mountains. The Everest region trekking has been attractive enough for the majority of people from around the world and it boasts a number of wonderful mountains, and incredible landscapes trekking to this region have still been one of the most rewarding trekking in the world. This trip is designed for those who wish to experience the region without ascending to a higher altitude. You will enjoy panoramic views of majestic mountains, remote and mountainous villages, isolated monasteries, and diverse cultures, rituals, and lifestyles. 

 Everest view trek begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then follow the classical route alongside the Khumbu region and reach Tengboche monastery, from where you will have amazing views of a number of majestic mountains such as Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) and snow-capped peak other mountains and then you will retrace back to Lukla, the slightly different route via Khumjung, subsequently fly back to Kathmandu. 

Outline Itinerary:

  • Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu.
  • Day 02: Morning flight to Lukla (2840m) which takes about 40 minutes from Kathmandu.
  • Day 03: 4 5 hours trek from Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3430m).
  • Day 04: Acclimatization or rest day.
  • Day 05: After having Breakfast in Namche, trek to Tengboche situated at the altitude of 3860m above sea level.
  • Day 06: Trek to monjo at the altitude of 2840m, small Sherpa settlement on the entering point of Sagarmatha National Park where we paid the entry fee on day 03.
  • Day 07: Trek back to Lukla from where it started.
  • Day 08: Morning flight to busy city of Kathmandu, transfer from airport to Hotel of your choice by private car or bus, according to group size. Free day in Kathmandu for resting, shopping or exploring around tourist hub Thamel area.
  • Day 09: Guided tour around Kathmandu Valley on the popular historic, cultural and religious spots including places listed on UNESCO world heritage sites.
  • Day 10: Departure to airport for flight back to your place or go for others programs in Nepal.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01 :Arrival in Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu. Pick up and transfer to Hotel on Private car or Jeep. After completing some official formalities for the trek free time for resting or exploring the local area near your Hotel
  • Day 02 :Morning flight to Lukla (2840m) which takes about 40 minutes from Kathmandu. Breakfast and refreshment in one of the tea houses or restaurants of Lukla and 4 hours trek to Phakding(2610m). The trail is gentle and descends first up to Thado Koshi then gradually climb up to the Phakding via Dudh Koshi river bank passing through the lusty green forest of Rhododendron, firs, bamboo, and several clear streams.
  • Day 03 :4 5 hours trek from Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3430m). Surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges, Namche Bazar is a busy Sherpa town also referred to as the gateway to Everest. The trail goes along the right bank of Dudh Koshi climbs from the riverbed on the left bank into the mountain, and through a forest towards Namche.
  • Day 04 :Acclimatization or rest day. About 1-hour morning hike to Everest viewpoint, from where you can perceive the first view of mighty Everest with Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Katanga, Nuptse, etc. Chance to experience Sherpa culture and traditions during your stay in Namche Bazaar. The remaining day is free for rest, personal activities, and exploring around the town of Namche.
  • Day 05 :After having Breakfast in Namche, trek to Tengboche situated at the altitude of 3860m above sea level. The duration of this trek is 4-5 hours. Tengboche monastery is the oldest monastery in this region with extraordinary architecture and culture. The great panoramic handy view of Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Tawache, and many other snow-capped peaks.
  • Day 06 :Trek to monjo at the altitude of 2840m, small Sherpa settlement on the entering point of Sagarmatha National Park where we paid the entry fee on day 03. Day trek will take about 5-6 hours to reach Monjo. The place is gifted by beautiful Mountains beyond the alpine forests and streams.
  • Day 07 :Trek back to Lukla from where it started. It will take about 4-5 hours to reach the destination. Rest in a tea house or explore around Lukla, Lukla offers good food, communication needs, souvenir shops, and bars with Tungba(an exotic alcoholic drink of Nepal´s mountain areas).
  • Day 08 :Morning flight to busy city of Kathmandu, transfer from airport to Hotel of your choice by private car or bus, according to group size. Free day in Kathmandu for resting, shopping or exploring around tourist hub Thamel area.
  • Day 09 :Guided tour around Kathmandu Valley on the popular historic, cultural and religious spots including places listed on UNESCO world heritage sites. The places are Pashupatinath Temple, Boudha stupa, Kathmandu durbar square, Swayambhu, and various other places.
  • Day 10 :Departure to airport for flight back to your place or go for others programs in Nepal.
