Everest Mini Trek

Everest Mini trek is short trek package especially designed for those trekker’s who are limited by time to go full route of Everest Base Camp trekking. Everest Mini trekking requires a moderate level physical fitness to complete this trek comfortably. You will reach a maximum altitude 3880m during this trek. It is one of popular trekking package in Everest region. Even in short time the Travelers enjoy heart of Sherpa land and world highest mountain. This trek offer you incredible panorama of great colossal Himalayan range with Mt Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8501m), Ama dablam(6956m), Thamserku, Nuptse, Kantega and many more snow topped mountains with the mingle of Sherpa´s superior culture and hospitality are the magnetism factors of this trek.

Everest Mini trekking begins from Lukla (40 minutes flight from Kathmandu) ascending up to the maximum elevation of 3880 meters at Syangboche, with the optimal view of Everest and its surrounding peaks and landscapes, the trail passes through several chortens, mani walls, prayer flags, villages of Sherpa and scenic forests of Rhododendron, firs, bamboos, etc. We toddle through the rock paths leading to the appealing picturesque Sherpa village of Khumjung, it is the largest village of Khumbu region with high school funded by Sir Edmund Hilary. Buddhist monasteries and Gompas are the other places to pop in for the enlightening of culture and traditions of this region, during the Everest Mini trek.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuwan International airport (Kathmandu), pick up from the airport by Private car/bus according to group size and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: About 40 minutes flight to Lukla at an altitude of 2840m.
Day 03: Trekking starts with horizontal walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi until we cross the bridge in Bemkar(2700) and with in some moments climbs to village of Monjo after Chumao and finally reach Namche, overnight at Namche
Day 04: Today treks starts with one hours walk to Syangboche(3720m).
Day 05: Trek down to Phakding at the elevation of 2610m.
Day 06: Trek back to the starting place of this trek Lukla (2840m).
Day 07: Fly back to Kathmandu, pick up from domestic airport and transfer to hotel of your choice, rest of the day free for shopping, exploring, resting and other personal activities. Since the flight is on morning you can visit many cultural places of Kathmandu
Day 08: Transfer to International airport for departure to your country or extend your stay and program in Nepal.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrival in Tribhuwan International airport (Kathmandu), pick up from the airport by Private car/bus according to group size and transfer to Hotel. After some official formalities and small briefing about trek free time for rest or explore around local area.
Day 02 :About 40 minutes flight to Lukla at an altitude of 2840m. Breakfast in Lukla and trek to Phakding(2610m). It takes 4 5 hours. The trail descends after Lukla and steady climb from Thado koshi until we reach Phakding for overnight stay.
Day 03 :Trekking starts with horizontal walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi until we cross the bridge in Bemkar(2700) and with in some moments climbs to village of Monjo after Chumao and finally reach Namche, overnight at Namche
Day 04 :Today treks starts with one hours walk to Syangboche(3720m). During the day you may see Thars, Musk deer and other animals while walking through the Forest of Rhododendrons, firs, Mongolia and bamboos. Syangboche offers the panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama dablam, Thamserku and several other snow capped peaks. Hiking around the picturesque village of Khumjung and return back to Namche.
Day 05 :Trek down to Phakding at the elevation of 2610m. It takes around 4 5 hours. The trail is mostly downhill crossing the Dudh Koshi River several times along the alpine and sub alpine forests of Sagarmatha National Park packed with various Himalayan animals and birds.
Day 06 :Trek back to the starting place of this trek Lukla (2840m). We start our trek after having breakfast in Phakding and most likely reach Lukla for lunch the unstable trail is 3 4 hours long, along the river Dudh koshi through the forests, colorful prayer flags, small human settlements etc.
Day 07 :Fly back to Kathmandu, pick up from domestic airport and transfer to hotel of your choice, rest of the day free for shopping, exploring, resting and other personal activities. Since the flight is on morning you can visit many cultural places of Kathmandu
Day 08 :Transfer to International airport for departure to your country or extend your stay and program in Nepal.
