Seti River Rafting is no doubt a lifetime experience. Seti River is one of the famous White water River for rafting in Nepal. This river is made up of the snow melt of the Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu and flowing down between these two majestic mountains in the mid west of the country. Seti River rafting is primarily suitable for family trip. It is accessible easily from Kathmandu and from Pokhara. Therefore, if you are visiting with your family members, you can stroll around Pokhara with your kith and kin and extend rafting trip in Seti River. Seti River rafting trip begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to Damaunli, Kathmandu to Pokhara highway and the rafting trip ends at the confluence of Seti and Trishuli Rivers. Sauraha, Chitwan National Park is situated just near from this place, thus you can also extend your trip up to Chitwan and go for jungle safari, spend one or two days, relax and return back to Kathmandu.

Total Rafting days: 1 night 2 days.

Total Rafting stretch: 35 Km

Rapid grading: 2 to 3 Grades.

After Rafting: Back to Kathmandu or go to Chitwan National Park or Pokhara.

Outline Itinerary:

  • Day 01: Arrival In kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel with B/B plan
  • Day 02: Drive in the early morning to reach Damaulia about 140 km west of Kathmandu which takes 4 5 hours.
  • Day 03: After we have finished breakfast and repacked our stuffs and tents, we will re fill our rafts with leg pump and set off down the flow of Seti.
  • Day 04: Drive to Kathmandu airport and departure to your Home

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01 :Arrival In kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel with B/B plan
  • Day 02 :Drive in the early morning to reach Damaulia about 140 km west of Kathmandu which takes 4 5 hours. we will start rafting from Damuli, flowing downstream for rest of the day on high current through natural vegetation forested hills, high cliffs, valleys and picturesque river beaches and during late afternoon camp along the sandy beach of seti for overnight.
  • Day 03 :After we have finished breakfast and repacked our stuffs and tents, we will re fill our rafts with leg pump and set off down the flow of Seti. Later we bump into the technical rapid grade 3 shortly after the rapid we Seti Khola combines with huge Trisuli River, now the mid hills fade away and the terai plains opens before us we will further float for 30 minutes and end our rafting. After lunch drive Chitwan National park or Kathmandu.
  • Day 04 :Drive to Kathmandu airport and departure to your Home
