Everest high pass trek begins with a short flight form Kathmandu to Lukla and follows the classic trail along Phakding and continues alongside of Dudh Koshi River and through Dudh Koshi valley you will reach at Namche Bazaar, where you will have a rest for a day or two for acclimatization. Subsequently, you will continues trekking to Dingboche, Pheriche, Lobuche alongside of Khumbu glacier through Rocky moraine you will finally reach at Everest base camp and then making excursion around return back to Gorakshep. Subsequently, from Gorakshep you will have trip around Kalapatthar, head to Zongla and crossing Cho la pass, Gokyo, Nagpala Pass, Nangpa La pass and finally retrace back to Gokyo valley and then Marlung, similarly, along the  Bhote Koshi river and Thame you will finally get back to Lukla and subsequently fly back to Kathmandu. 

Outline Itinerary:

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel, rest and refresh for couple of hour and complete the official formalities, visit local market around Thamel.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu lukla Phakding (2600m), 3 hrs
  • Day 04: Phakding Namche (3440m) 5 hrs
  • Day 05: Rest day hike up Khumjung via Syngbochhe and visit Sherpa village.
  • Day 06: Namche Tengboche (3860m), 5hrs
  • Day 07: Tengboche Dingboche (4320m), 5 hrs
  • Day 08: Rest day
  • Day 09: Dingboche Chhukung (4700m), 3 hrs and after lunch hike up Chuking Ri 5360m
  • Day 10: Chhukung Khongma La Pass (5535m) Lobuche (4900m) 8/9 hrs
  • Day 11: Lobuche Gorekshep (5170m), 3hrs
  • Day 12: Gorekshep Kalapathar Everest Base Camp Gorakshep, 8 hrs round trip
  • Day 13: Gorekshep Dzongla (4900m), 6 hrs
  • Day 14: Dzongal Chola pass (5420m) Thangna (4700m), 7 hrs
  • Day 15: Thangna Gokyo (4700m), 3 hrs.
  • Day 16: Rest day visit fifth lake.
  • Day 17: Gokyo Taranga –Lungden (over the Renzo pass (5338m), 7 8 hrs
  • Day 18: Lungden Thame (3800m), 4hrs
  • Day 19: Thame Monju (2800m), 5hrs
  • Day 20: Monju Lukla (2800m), 4 hrs
  • Day 21: Lukla Kathmandu, in the morning time fly back to Kathmandu.
  • Day 22: Relax and shopping.
  • Day 23: Departure.
