Peak Climbing in Nepal is one of the most adventure sports and one of the most demanded packages among the travelers from across the world. The government bodies--Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) issue authority to have peak climbing trip to any peaks in Nepal. NMA grants permission to climb peaks bellow 2,200 ft, while the mountaineering section of the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation issues the permission to the peaks above this height. The charge for peak climbing depends on the number of members involved in a group and the height of the mountain you want to climb as well as the adventurous sport you want to organize in the mountain areas.

Preparation for peak climbing

Although you are fully assisted by the well-trained and long years experienced guide during the peak climbing trip, there are many things to be considered which are listed in the following as the preparation for peak climbing: 

Fitness: 

The fitter you are, the greater the chance of your success to summit the highest peaks. Therefore, we suggest you to pay attention of your fitness. Go for aerobic or any other ways to gain muscle or lose or gain weight but maintain your fitness, because, fitness is one of the first step for preparing oneself for tackling of any kinds of challenges while climbing the snow capped-peaks. Rests are the techniques which will be briefed during the trip. 

Health

Health is wealth, the most popular cliché, also best suits in the peak climbing, because, the healthier you are, the easier it will be, while climbing the peak. The higher you go up there is chances of being suffered from the high altitude sickness but, if you are healthy enough and have confident in yourself getting to the high altitude, there is high chances of getting success of climbing high peaks in Nepal. Therefore, make appropriate measures for being fit, fine, and healthy. 

Acclimatization

You better be aware about the the high altitude sickness beforehand.  If you have high hills, you better visit them and acclimatize yourself. Normally, it takes several days for you to feel okay before you reach to the high altitude peaks. You will be acclimatized in in different altitudes, however if you have knowledge about high altitude, sickness and preventive measures and you prepare yourself, you can  easily cope up with any kinds of hurdles that come during your trip.

Peak Climbing Gears

Peak climbing is not everyday a joke. It needs a lot of preparation and involves a lot of gears. Otherwise, you have to compromise with your safety. Thus, we recommend you not to compromise or disregard with peak climbing gears. The gears differ to different altitude peaks you intend you climb.
